Services for getting to and from the terminal
Wheelchairs

All airlines operating at the airport provide curbside wheelchair service. Passengers are encouraged to contact their airline well in advance of their trip to make arrangements if wheelchair service is needed.
The airlines also work with ABM Aviation for wheelchair assistance. ABM Aviation’s number is 509-499-7930.
Accessible Parking Options
Accessible parking is available in all airport parking lots. In the Garage Parking Lot, elevators are located on each floor and skybridge access to all concourses can be found on the 2nd Floor. Additionally, the Garage Parking Lot can accommodate vehicles up to 10’0” on the 1st Floor and 6’8” on Floors 2-5. All Economy Parking Lot shuttles and shelters are also available and equipped with ramps.
Ground Transportation
Not all ground transportation providers at the airport can readily accommodate passengers with disabilities, so passengers looking for transportation options are encouraged to prearrange their transportation.
Public Transportation
Spokane Transit Authority provides public transit to and from Spokane International Airport on Route #60. All STA buses are wheelchair accessible.
Services the airport
Blind/Low Vision Assistance
AIRA is an app that connects blind or low vision individuals via smartphone or smart glasses with a trained agent. The agent provides visual descriptions to navigate the individual through the airport, check in at airline ticket counters, proceed through the TSA security screening checkpoint, locate shops and restaurants, stay up to date on flight status, and identify luggage. This service is offered for free at Spokane International Airport.
Restrooms

All airport restrooms contain at least one larger stall and grab bars to accommodate individuals with accessibility needs. Additionally, accessible family restrooms are available both pre- and post-security.
Service Animal Relief Areas

Several relief areas are available for passengers traveling with a pet. Pre-security locations can be found outside the terminal across from the A/B Concourse baggage claim and in the Concourse Plaza. Locations are also situated post-security by the A Concourse gate area and the upper C Concourse gate area.
Security
Only ticketed passengers are allowed past security checkpoints, but airlines may provide a companion pass to assistants or guardians to accompany those with special needs to their gate.
TSA Cares is a service that provides travelers with disabilities, medical conditions and other special circumstances additional assistance during the security screening process. Passengers needing assistance should reach out to TSA Cares at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled departure.
Assistive Listening

Passengers can send announcements directly to their phone by connecting to the Airport’s Wi-Fi, then downloading the “ListenWiFi” app.
Nursing & Family Suites

GEG has Mamava nursing pods in the A/B Rotunda for accessible, private nursing.
Our Concourse C nursing suite offers a more expansive option — a spa-like space with private nursing rooms, a communal lounge, and changing tables, designed to give parents a comfortable, welcoming place to care for their families.
Companion Care Room

The Companion Care Room in Concourse C is a private space for travelers who need personal care assistance. It’s equipped with an adult-sized changing table and electric lift, an accessible sink, and an accessible toilet. The room is reserved for travelers who need it and their caregivers.
