Spokane Airport Concourse B

Checkpoint Hours

TSA security checkpoints open daily at 3:45 a.m. and remain open until the last flight of the day boards. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours early before your departure. Please check with your airline for ticket counter opening times.

Before You Get to the Checkpoint

A little preparation goes a long way. Here’s what to have ready before you reach the checkpoint:

  • A REAL ID
  • Boarding pass — printed or on your phone
  • Liquids in a quart-sized clear bag, each 3.4 oz or less
  • Laptops and large electronics removed from your bag
  • Shoes, belts, and jackets ready to remove

For a full list of what you can and can’t bring through security, use the TSA’s What Can I Bring? tool.

Wait Times

GEG is an “Origin & Destination” airport – which means, early mornings are some of the busiest times in the terminal.

We recommend arriving at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure.

TSA PreCheck®

TSA PreCheck® is a program that gives trusted travelers a speedier security experience — that means shoes on, laptop in your bag, no removing liquids and less time in line. Enrollment is available right here at GEG.

Visit the TSA PreCheck® enrollment center in the terminal to apply in person. Enrollment takes about 10 minutes and is valid for five years.

REAL ID

A REAL ID is required to board domestic flights (no exceptions!). Check whether your driver’s license is Real ID compliant by visiting the TSA website.
