Building the future
The new era is taking off at GEG. From a major terminal renovation to a brand-new Rail-Truck Transload Facility, we’re expanding capacity, improving the passenger experience, and strengthening the region’s position as a logistics and transportation hub.
These projects aren’t just construction. They’re investments in the community, in sustainability, and in the future of how the Inland Northwest connects to the world.
Featured project: TREX

Terminal Renovation & Expansion (TREX)
The largest capital project in our airport’s history, TREX is transforming the passenger experience from curb to gate. The program includes expanded concourses, modernized concession spaces, and a focus on accessibility and sustainable design.

Planning for the future
Our Master Plan is a 20 to 50-year roadmap for the airport’s growth, required by the FAA. It outlines our development strategy, facility needs, and land use plans. The Airport Layout Plan (ALP) is its companion document, showing detailed drawings of existing and planned facilities.
