How the process works

GEG’s credentialing office uses AirBadge, a compliance automation platform, to manage all badge applications, renewals and appointments.

To get started, an Authorized Signatory at your company, hangar or agency must sponsor your application. They’ll initiate the process through AirBadge, and you’ll receive an email with a unique link and login instructions to complete your application.

FAQs

Your Authorized Signatory starts the process by submitting your application through AirBadge. You’ll then receive an email with instructions to set up your account. Once your account is verified, AirBadge will guide you through the remaining steps.

An Authorized Signatory is someone authorized to sponsor badge applications on behalf of their company, hangar or agency. In most cases, this is your manager or supervisor.

Federal regulations require two original, unexpired forms of government-issued ID. One must establish your identity and the other must verify your employment eligibility, following I-9 requirements.

Notify your Authorized Signatory and the credentialing office right away. You’ll need to complete a lost badge recovery form to get a replacement.
